Here is a list of recent compositions for various media.  As time permits, I’ll put up more detail about them.  This site is pretty new, and it will take a while to get all the content into it…  but I’m working steadily at it.

Concerto for Piano and Jazz Band.  It’s written for a “concert pianist” who has stylistic sympathy with jazz styles, but isn’t required to improvise (though there are a couple of improv sax solos in the piece).  Four movements, about 25 minutes of music in the classic forms, but in a modern jazz style

Our Father, Lord, and Shepherd   A setting of verses from Matthew and Psalms 8 and 23, for mixed chorus, piano and violin.  Premiered by the Azusa Pacific University Chamber Singers

Out of the Fog for orchestra.   Premiered by the Azusa Pacific University Symphony Orchestra

Endurance for Orchestra   Based on the adventures of Sir Ernest Shackleton, it is a five movement work for orchestra.  There’s more detail about it here.
